Lumaki ako sa panahong sarimanok pa ang logo ng ABS-CBN. Uso pa ang Time Quest at Mask Rider Black sa ABC5. Yung panahong hindi ko pa alam ang dahilan kung bakit lumipat sa GMA7 ang Eat Bulaga at si Mel Tianco. Ginagawa ko pang orasan noon ang RPN9. Sikat pa sa IBC 13 ang Ghost Fighter at Super Boink. English version pa ang Dragon Ball Z na  pinapalabas noon sa channel 9. Sikat din noon yung cartoon na “Flying House” o kung tawagin na ngayon ay “Super Book”.

Hangang ngayon ay saulado ko pa ang chorus ng themesong ng Alas Singko Y’medya. Hindi ko panahon ang John en Marsha pero kahit di ko pa masyadong maalala nakalakihan kong manuod ng Home Along da Riles tuwing Huwebes at ang legendary Okay ka Fairy ko na pinagmulan ng pelikulang Enteng Kabisote 1 to sawang sequels. Batanes: Comming Soon!

Finally! For the first time in my life I’m seeing the vast spaces. First of the many places Inland, Batanes. My ancestral ground.

Traveling all the way to Batanes is very costly, but the experience priceless.

I’m excited to see the verdant, rolling hills. People there are so honest that mini-stores there remained untended.

Remember the days when sweatshirts used to be baggy, saggy and daggy? The sleeves and body were miles too big; the cuffs and hem would pucker from being so ill-fitting; and said sweatshirt would almost certainly have a hideous sporting brand across the front (and possibly stains). Well guys, those days are officially over…just quietly, they were kinda over in the 90’s.
